Sunbelt Expo

The ARA was well represented at the Sun Belt Expo in Moultrie, Georgia. Bill Purvis, Charlie Tatum, Joe Scheffer, Tony Scheffer, and James Beard displayed animals, manned the display and answered many questions regarding Romagnola cattle in general and the exhibited animals in particular. The number of exhibitors and the number of attendees seemed to be lighter this year than in previous years but the ARA team reported good attendance and a more intense interest from their visitors.
Bill Purvis reported that this would be his last exhibit with Nocturnal but he had a young bull, Hallmark, in training and expected to display him at the next event. Nocturnal and Bill have been great ambassadors and introduced many persons to the Romagnola breed. Thanks to all who participated in the exhibits as this seems to be one of our best methods to introduce people to Romagnola cattle.
